The legal part is easier than it sounds. Here’s what to prepare before your ceremony.
Apply online
Complete the Clark County application no more than 90 days before your ceremony. Both partners should enter their information exactly as it appears on identification.
Bring photo identification
Both people need valid government-issued photo ID. US citizens should know their Social Security numbers, but do not need the physical cards.
Pick up the license together
Both partners appear in person at the Marriage License Bureau. The current site-listed fee is $102 cash or $105.29 by card.
Bring it to the ceremony
Your officiant completes the ceremony paperwork. A certified marriage certificate is ordered separately after the wedding.
Order certified copies if needed
A certified copy is commonly required for name changes, immigration, benefits, or taxes. International couples may also need an Apostille.
